Maintenance Supervisor

Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and mobilize the maintenance team (mechanics, electromechanics, technicians, subcontractors).
- Participate in onboarding, training, and employee evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and safe work environment.
Maintenance Planning and Execution
- Plan, organize, and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Prioritize interventions based on impacts on production, safety, and quality.
- Ensure follow-up on work orders and adherence to deadlines.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement sustainable solutions.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and implementation of corrective measures.
- Ensure equipment complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Equipment and Infrastructure Management
- Ensure reliability and availability of production equipment.
- Supervise maintenance of the building and utility systems (air, steam, hydraulic, electrical, etc.).
- Manage spare parts inventory and recommend appropriate stock levels.
Continuous Improvement and Performance
- Implement and monitor performance indicators (downtime, maintenance costs, MTBF, MTTR).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to optimize operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement, automation, or capital equipment projects.
- Propose initiatives to reduce costs and increase reliability.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Track expenses.
- Produce activity reports and performance analyses.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors (quotes, work follow-up, schedule compliance).
Quality required

Requirements
- DEC or AEC in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or a related field or relevant training combined with significant experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Previous team supervision experience (strong asset).

What we’re looking for
